How do I change my address of record or email address?
An address or email change can be done online via the BreEZe system.
You will need to sign into the system and follow the instructions to submit an address/email change.
You may also change your address/email by printing and completing the Notice of Change
of Address/Email form. Please sign the form and fax it to the number on the form.
NOTE: If you are renewing at the same time you want to change an address/email,
please be sure to change your address/email before renewing your license. Please complete those steps first in
the BreEZe system prior to completing the renewal process online. If you are faxing the form prior to renewal, please write
Expedite for Renewal at the top of the form before faxing.

I want to update my physician survey
To update your physician survey information, first create a BreEZe user account
and login. Then select the survey from the Choose Application drop
down box under Manage your license information heading.

The next button is greyed out
Some addresses did not convert well to BreEZe and if the Next button
is greyed out when reviewing the Address Detail Summary, please
call the MBC Help Desk for assistance, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm PST at
916-263-2205.

The system is indicating I cannot renew online
You cannot renew before you receive your paper renewal by mail. If you have received
your paper renewal and still cannot renew, please call the Medical Board of California
Help Desk for assistance, Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm PST at 916-263-2205.

My application status says pending
With BreEZe the only display for status currently is PENDING. For further details
on what documents need to be submitted, or for the current status of your application,
you must contact your Licensing Analyst. If you do not know who this is, send
your full name and whether you are a US/Canadian or International
graduate to the webmaster@mbc.ca.gov.
The email will be forwarded to your Licensing Analyst to contact you.

I want to renew my PTAL (Postgraduate Training Authorization Letter)
This is currently not available online in BreEZe. You must contact your Licensing
Analyst for assistance. If you do not know who this is, send your full name
to the webmaster@mbc.ca.gov. The email
